WASHINGTON: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken discussed shared challenges and “Iran threat” with Foreign Minister of Israel Eli Cohen during a telephonic conversation on Monday.

According to Arab news the US Secretary of State also highlighted the US’ abiding commitment to the US-Israel partnership. Antony Blinken also discussed continued Washington efforts to advance mutual interests in the region, Arab news reported.

The two sides also exchanged views addressing common challenges and promoting shared values between the two countries. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized the continued Washington commitment to a two-state solution and opposition to policies that endanger its viability.
