WASHINGTON: White House has said that the USA has looked ways to target Iranian drone production through sanctions and export controls.
The US is also talking to the private companies whose parts have been used in the production.
Iranian drone the target
A White House National Security Council spokesperson, Adrienne Watson said that they were assessing further steps they could take in terms of the export controls to restrict Iran’s access to the technologies used in the drone.
United States has previously imposed sanctions on the company and citizens it accused of producing and transferring Iranian drones that Russia has used to attack the infrastructure in Ukraine.
