US Department of Energy Opines COVID leaked from Wuhan Lab

Investigations into the start of a Covid-virus that has now caused death to nearly 7 million people have been restrcited by politics and a lack of access and transparency.

COVID-19,t he great pandemic, was probably the cause of a leak from a laboratory, according to a newly seen classified report from the United States Department of Energy reported by a US newspaper.

The very new coronavirus — SARS-CoV-2 — first time came form the central Chinese city of Wuhan in late 2019 and fastly spread around the world, so far causing death tonearly 7 million people. It also created a huge turmoil in the world economy as nations closed borders and mainatained lockdowns in trying for curbing its spread as the virus against which there were, initially, no effective vaccines or cure was available.

The judgment in the latest classified report came out of new intelligence work and was seen with “low confidence”, the research Journal reported on Sunday. The energy department which runs a network of USA based laboratories, like some that undertaking advanced chemical and biological research too.

The latest findings suggest a shift in the view of the US energy department, which had previously said it was uncertain on how the virus came and spread. The officials not commented to elaborate on the intelligence that had started the department to change its opinion. It now share the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in recommending that the virus probably spread after a mishap at the laboratory, a conclusion the FBI investigation reached in 2021 with not very cetrtain.

Four US intelligence departments believe with “low confidence” that COVID-19 spread via natural transmission, while two others remain undecided, the Journal added.
