ISLAMABAD: The United States has asked for Pakistan’s assistance in the rehabilitation of Ukraine’s electricity transmission system.

The US Embassy in Islamabad, in a letter to Pakistan’s energy ministry, asked for a lending hand in rehabilitation of power infrastructure in the war-ravaged country. It said that Russia had targeted Ukrainian plants, damaging the country’s energy infrastructure.
