ISLAMABAD: The US diplomatic mission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), announced on Friday an expansion of the waiver program for the nationals of Saudi Arabia from attending personal interviews to obtain tourist visas for the US.
KSA-US Ties
According to the US embassy and Consulate General, they are happy to announce that interview waivers are available for Saudi nationals at least 50 years old renewing a tourist visa.
The US embassy in Riyadh tweeted, “We are happy to announce the expansion of the tourist visa renewal interview waiver program”.
It added that the US diplomatic mission to KSA has resumed immigrant and nonimmigrant visa processing for all categories.
Dr. Osama Ghanem Al-Obaidy, a professor of law in Riyadh, welcomed the announcement and said that it will further enhance ties between the US and Saudi Arabia.
