LAHORE: US Ambassador Donald Blome met with Punjab’s Caretaker Chief Minister, Mohsin Naqvi, at the Chief Minister’s Office and discussed matters of mutual interest.
The US Ambassador was accompanied by the US Consul General in Lahore, Kristin Hawkins, during his visit.
During the meeting, various topics were discussed, including opportunities to enhance trade and investment between the United States and Punjab.

US Ambassador Vows to Strengthen US-Pakistan Ties
The importance of safeguarding the human rights and fundamental freedoms of religious minorities, as well as the principles of democracy and the rule of law, were also key points of conversation.
Ambassador Blome reaffirmed his commitment to expanding economic ties between the United States and Pakistan while expressing his eagerness for further cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
