Uruguay Beat Namibia in Rugby World Cup

PARIS: Uruguay thrash Namibia in Lyon to record their first pool victory at the Rugby World Cup and deny the African side a first victory in the competition.

Two early attempts from JC Greyling and Gerswin Mouton, along with the boot of Tiaan Swanepoel, put Namibia in control during the game.

Uruguay replied in the 2nd half via tries by Santiago Arata, Bautista Basso, and Baltazar Amaya. Uruguay side came into the fixture as favorites following impressing against the French team to deny it a bonus-point victory before leading at half-time against Italian side.
