ISLAMABAD: The United Nations (UN) has launched a new website, this time in the Urdu language titled “UN Khabarnama”. Taking to its Twitter handle on Wednesday the UN Pakistan chapter disclosed this while adding that United Nations has started its new website with the name Un Khabarnam in the Urdu language which will assist Urdu readers to get informed about information related to the UN in their own language.
Twitteriest hails launching of Urdu website
The recent step taken by the UN of launching the Urdu website got mixed reaction, mostly with the messages of appreciation.
Investigative Journalists Waseem Abbasi praised the move with best wished to the supervisors of the website.
Another twitteriest Sufiyan Waheed Saddiqui also appreciated the move and thanked the UN for the website. He recalled that UN was the center of gravity for all human beings and hoped that the UN would play its role for resolving the issue of Kashmir and Palestine.
