UN Chief Condemns Mob Attacks Targeting Foreign Students, Including Pakistanis

UNITED NATIONS: United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has expressed strong disapproval of the recent mob attacks against foreign students, including Pakistanis, in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, in which many students were injured.

According to news agency, when UN Deputy Spokesperson Farhan Aziz Haq was asked about the UN Chief’s reaction to the developments in the Central Asian country, he stated that they oppose all xenophobic and anti-immigrant attacks.

Meanwhile, the process of evacuating Pakistani students from Bishkek is underway.
