ISLAMABAD: The Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba will visit Pakistan for a two-day official trip on 20-21 July, the Foreign Office announced on Wednesday.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement that as part of his trip, Dmytro Kuleba is scheduled to hold meetings with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari.
The statement said that Pakistan and Ukraine enjoy close and cordial ties, especially in the fields of trade, investment, higher education, and agriculture.
Foreign Minister Kuleba’s trip is the first-ever ministerial visit from Ukraine since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Pakistan and Ukraine in 1993.

During the visit, both sides would discuss the food crisis in the wake of the Russia-Ukrainian war, according to media reports.
Pakistan’s Stance on Ukraine War
Pakistan maintains a neutral stance on the war as it has shown concerns over the humanitarian crisis in the war-hit country Ukraine but never openly condemned Moscow.
Islamabad has multiple times abstained from voting in UN against Russia, seeking support for the call for the withdrawal of forces from Ukraine.
