ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on an official visit today (Thursday).
According to a spokesperson of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during his visit, Foreign Minister Kuleba will meet with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and engage in detailed discussions with Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Both countries have been enjoying a close and friendly relationship, particularly in the areas of trade, agriculture, investment and higher education.
Being the first-ever ministerial visit from Ukraine to Pakistan since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1993, the arrival marks a significant milestone. The visit is expected to further strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
The visit comes as Ukraine and Russia are still at war, and Pakistan has chosen to stay neutral.
