WARSAW: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will make an official visit to Poland’s capital Warsaw on Wednesday, a Polish presidential aide has said.
Head of the Polish president’s International Policy Bureau, Marcin Przydacz told the private radio station RMF FM on Monday “This is an official visit, but there will also be an element of a public nature.”
He said Zelensky Zelensky will meet his Polish counterpart, Andrzej Duda, as well as Ukrainians living in Poland.
Przydacz added the two presidents will discuss security matters, economic cooperation, politics and historical issues. Transport of Ukrainian grain via Poland, which has caused problems for Polish farmers with regard to selling their own product, will also on the meeting’s agenda, he said.
Poland has hosted over a million refugees from Ukraine, the most among any country.
