He proposed renewing the “entente cordiale” for future generations, transforming it into an agreement for sustainability to tackle the urgent global climate and biodiversity challenges more effectively.
Regarding foreign policy, King Charles expressed unwavering determination, stating, “Together we are unwavering in our determination that Ukraine will win.”
The King also referenced General Charles de Gaulle’s historic remarks from London in 1940 after the Battle of France, emphasizing the continuity of the work done by those who came before in facing the greatest challenges of their time.
