UK Experts Impart Safety Training to Pakistani Avian Staff

ISLAMABAD: United Kingdom aviation experts imparted a five-day safety training to personnel performing duty at the Islamabad International Airport.

According to a spokesman, the training session was arranged by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) in collaboration with United Kingdom Department for Transport (DfT) and more than 60 personnel from civil aviation, Pakistan International Airlines and the Airport Security Force participated.

He said that the initiative was the continuation of the joint efforts of the British High Commission and Pakistan to improve aviation safety. Earlier, a similar training was held at the Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore.

UK master trainers appreciated the professional integrity of participants. PCAA Director Security Air Commodore Shahid Qadir thanked the UK for its cooperation in conducting the aviation safety training. -APP
