ISLAMABAD: Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Friday vowed to further expand bilateral ties and mutual cooperation in diverse fields. A press statement issued by Prime Minister House said that Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif and President of UAE Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan discussed matters of mutual interest during a telephonic conversation.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also conveyed warm greetings to the President of UAE on 51st National Day of the Gulf country. On the occasion, Shehbaz Sharif thanked Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan for the financial support to his country after the recent floods in the South Asian country.
UAE is Pakistan’s largest partner in Middle east
During the telephone conversation, Pakistan’s Prime Minister also invited the President of UAE for a trip to PAK and Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan accepted the invitation. UAE and PAK enjoy close fraternal relations and the Gulf country is PAK largest trading partner in the Middle East.
