ISLAMABAD: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Pakistan and United Arab Emirates (UAE), for the production of plasma, as per the Ministry of Health.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Health, an MoU for the production of plasma was signed between Pakistan and the UAE. Federal Health Minister of Pakistan, Abdul Qadir Patel attended the MoU-signing ceremony.
The spokesman said that the purpose of this agreement is to promote the plasma sector in Pakistan in a phased manner.

Federal Minister for Health Qadir Patel said that the government is committed to meet the critical need for plasma-based treatment. He said that plasma is used as main ingredient in the preparation of related medicines and the field of plasma collection is developing rapidly.
