UAE’s Ambassador Calls on Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salim Al-Zaabi said on Thursday that his country is keenly interested to increase its investment in Pakistan in new sectors of the economy. The Ambassador said that the United Arab Emirates is fully aware of the development-oriented economic policies of Pakistan being undertaken by the country.
UAE, Pakistan aim to boost economic ties
The two sides also shared the historical and long-standing relationship between Pakistan and United Arab Emirates and exchanged views to further strengthen and boost economic ties between the two countries.
On the occasion, Ishaq Dar said that Pakistan and UAE are engaging in several areas including refinery, energy, trade, and petroleum, however, there is need to explore the rest of the potential between the two countries.
Ishaq Dar also highlighted various new sectors in which the two sides can work. The Minister also welcomed the suggestions of the United Arab Emirates to invest in Pakistan and assured him of full cooperation and support by Pakistan. Ishaq Dar hoped that the two sides will further enhance their bilateral ties in the future.
