ISLAMABAD: Authorities in the United Arab Emirates and Jordan have strongly condemned a terrorist attack on a military convoy in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan in which 13 soldiers were martyred.
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended its condolences to the families of the victims and the people of Pakistan, following what it described as a “heinous and cowardly attack.” The ministry also conveyed its wishes for a swift recovery for those injured in the incident.

It further affirmed that the United Arab Emirates firmly rejects all forms of terrorism and violence that threaten security and stability.
Jordan’s Foreign Ministry also condemned the attack and expressed its solidarity with Pakistan during this difficult time.
A day earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan condemned the heinous terrorist attack in Pakistan.
In a post in Turkish on the social media platform X, he prayed the Allah Almighty to have mercy on our Pakistani brothers who lost their lives in the attack and wish a speedy recovery to the injured.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his condolences to the friendly and brotherly people and the government of Pakistan.
On June 28, 13 Pakistani soldiers embraced martyrdom in a suicide attack in Mir Ali area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district.

Two children and a civilian woman were also among the injured, according to the military media wing, Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR). ISPR said that the attacker targeted a military convoy with an explosive-laden vehicle.
Following the attack, the security forces conducted a sanitisation operation and killed 14 terrorists.
