ABU DHABI: UAE’s President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, and Iraqi prime minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani discussed on Thursday ways of further enhancing bilateral ties, and the prospects for cooperation between the two sides.

According to Emirates News Agency, the meeting between the two leaders held at Qasr Al Watan. The two sides also reviewed avenues of cooperation in many sectors including trade, economic, investment and developmental sectors.

The two leaders also discussed global and regional matters of mutual interest during the meeting. They affirmed that all regional issues should be resolved peacefully and through diplomatic ways for regional stability and prosperity.
