UAE FM Discusses Regional Developments with Russian, Kuwaiti, Israeli Counterparts

DUBAI: United Arab Emirate (UAE) Foreign Affairs Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held telephone conversations with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Kuwait’s Foreign Minister Sheikh Salem Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah, and Israel’s Foreign Minister Eli Cohen and leader of the opposition Yair Lapid, and discussed ongoing regional developments in the region.

During these calls, the UAE’s top diplomat emphasized de-escalation efforts and stressed the vital importance of safeguarding civilians from the repercussions of the current crisis.

Sheikh Abdullah underscored the pressing need for immediate action by all relevant international stakeholders to alleviate tensions and prevent further deterioration of the situation.

He emphasized that the current circumstances necessitate the highest levels of prudence, de-escalation of hostilities, and the restoration of stability in the region. Sheikh Abdullah emphasized that these objectives can only be realized through comprehensive, equitable peace and sustainable security.
