KARACHI: United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Al Zaabi met with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah at CM House on Friday.
The UAE Consul General to Karachi Bakheet Ateeq Al Remeithi and Chief Minister Secretary Rahim Shaikh also attended the meeting.
The discussions focused on investment, trade relations, bilateral ties, and mutual interests.
A significant topic was the standard cultivation of dates in the Sindh province. Chief Minister Shah expressed intentions to establish high-quality date palm plantations in Sindh, emphasizing the government’s commitment to promoting palm cultivation.
Ambassador Al Zaabi assured that the UAE would provide full support to the Sindh government in these efforts.
