ISLAMABAD: In a closely contested match, UAE defeated Islamabad Club 2-1 to lift the 11th UAE Ambassador Cup 2023 trophy. The match was held at the UAE embassy premises in Islamabad, and both teams displayed an impressive level of skill and determination.
UAE took the lead early on in the game, with Elham scoring a goal in the 12th minute. Islamabad Club fought hard to level the score, but it was UAE who doubled their lead with a goal from Abdullah in the 68th minute.
Zeshan, the captain of Islamabad Club, managed to score a goal for his team in the 82nd minute, but it was not enough to change the outcome of the match.
UAE Ambassador celebrates victory
The Ambassador of UAE, Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem AlZaabi, along with the Ambassadors of Iran, Jordon, Kuwait, and Thailand, were present at the Embassy of UAE to celebrate the victory with the UAE team.
