Two Women Among Three Killed in Pakistan’s Passenger Van Attack

ISLAMABAD/ PESHAWAR: At least three persons, including two women, were killed and one injured when unknown assailants attacked a passenger van in the Warasta area of Hungu in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan on Saturday.

Attackers of van attack escape 

According to police, unknown assailants opened fire on a passenger van in the Warasta area of Hungu, killing three passengers, including two women. The assailants escaped the scene after committing the crime.

The injured and the bodies were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital. A police search operation has been launched to arrest the fleeing assailants.  

Asif Bahadur, a district police officer, said that no one would be permitted to disturb the law and order situation in the district, and the perpetrators would be brought to justice.
