RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s military officials said on Tuesday that two terrorists were killed during an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) in Razmak, North Waziristan.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), on night 14 and 15 August security forces conducted an IBO on the reported presence of terrorists in Razmak, North Waziristan district. It added, “During the operation, security forces surrounded the terrorists’ location, and after an intense fire exchange, two terrorists were sent to hell”.

The ISPR said, “ Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces as well as extortion and target killing of innocent citizens”.
It added that sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area. “Locals of the area appreciated the operation and expressed their full support to eliminate the menace of terrorism,” the ISPR maintained.
