RAWALPINDI: Two soldiers, Naib Subedar Hazrat Gul and Sepoy Nazir Ullah Mehsud, lost their lives in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast in Bara tehsil of Khyber tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Saturday, ISPR said in a press release.
Naib Subedar Hazrat Gul, 37, hailed from Lower Dir, while Sepoy Nazir Ullah Mehsud, 34, belonged to South Waziristan.
The security forces have launched a sanitization operation in the area to eliminate any terrorists who have been involved in the attack, ISPR said.
