Two Pakistani Soldiers Martyred in North Waziristan IED Blast: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: In a tragic incident on Tuesday, two brave soldiers of Pakistan’s armed forces embraced martyrdom when an improvised explosive device (IED) detonated in the general area of Spinwam, located in North Waziristan tribal district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said in a press release.

The martyred soldiers were identified as Sepoy Gul Rauf (29) from District Lakki Marwat and Sepoy Abid Ullah (23) from District Karak, ISPR said.

The martyred soldiers had been bravely carrying out their duties to safeguard the nation. Their sacrifice is a testament to their unwavering dedication and commitment to protecting their fellow countrymen.

ISPR further stated that swift action is being taken to sanitize the area and eliminate any terrorists found in the area. The Armed Forces of Pakistan remain resolute in their mission to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the region. The sacrifice made by these courageous soldiers only strengthens the resolve of the armed forces to counter such threats and ensure the safety and security of the nation, ISPR resolved.
