ISLAMABAD: Two senior members of the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces have lost their lives during the Israeli regime’s latest assaults against Iran, Iranian state-owned news media Press TV reported.
According to a statement released by the Communications and Information Center of the General Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces on Saturday, Brigadier General Gholamreza Mehrabi and Brigadier General Mehdi Rabbani were killed during the Israeli regime’s assaults last night.
“Brutal aggression”
“Following the brutal aggression of the terrorist, illegitimate, and criminal Zionist regime, General Gholamreza Mehrabi and General Mehdi Rabbani, senior staff officials of the Armed Forces and veterans of the eight-year Sacred Defense, have joined their martyred comrades,” the statement said.
“Martyr General Gholamreza Mehrabi was the Deputy for Intelligence of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and Martyr General Mehdi Rabani was the Deputy for Operations of the General Staff of the Armed Forces,” it added.
