WEST BANK: Two Palestinians were killed during an Israeli army offensive in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, the Palestinian health ministry said early Friday, as fighting there continues alongside the war in Gaza.
The fresh deaths in the occupied West Bank come on top of three Palestinian people killed by Israel on Thursday. Earlier, the Palestinian Health Ministry said that 3 Palestinians were killed by Israeli fire in the occupied West Bank, Western media reported on Thursday. Violence has increased across the West Bank for several months and intensified since the start of the conflict between Palestine and Israel in the Gaza Strip.
Two More Palestinians killed in West Bank: Health ministry
The Palestinian Health Ministry stated that on Thursday in El-Bireh, near the seat of the Palestinian Authority in Ramallah, two Palestinian people including Yazan Shiha and Ayham Al-Shafei were killed and 2 others injured when Israeli forces opened fire during a strike.

The Palestinian Health Ministry said that Qusai Qur’an, was killed by Israeli troops during an attack on Qalqilya in the northern West Bank. Two others people were injured in the attack.
The Palestinian ministry said that Israeli forces and settlers have martyred about 130 Palestinian people in the West Bank since October 7.
In the same period about 1,900 Palestinians have been apprehended by Israeli troops, the Palestinian Prisoners’ Club advocacy group said.
Several media and rights groups have said footage circulating on different platforms of social media show Israeli troops filming the abuse and humiliation of arrested Palestinians.
