Two Hungarians Die in Plane Crash in Sweden

STOCKHOLM: A private propeller plane crashed into the sea off Sweden’s coast, killing two Hungarian nationals on Monday.

The identities of the dead were not disclosed, but a police spokesperson told AFP they were both in their 40s.

The spokesman said that police have started an investigation into the cause of the unfortunate accident, AFP reported.

Plane’s destination

The plane was going from Poland to Dala-Jarna in central Sweden, but changed its destination to Skavsta airport close to the eastern town of Nykoping. However, it could not reach there and crashed into the sea off the coast of Norrkoping, according to aviation authorities.
