KARACHI: In Karachi’s Machhar Colony, at least two people lost their lives, and 10 others sustained injuries after a residential building collapsed due to a gas cylinder explosion on Monday.
Among the casualties were a 45-year-old and a 29-year-old, with critical injuries reported, including children aged three and six.
The blast originated from a gas cylinder shop on the building’s ground floor, triggering a swift response from rescue teams and police.
The injured have been rushed to the Civil Hospital, and a rescue operation is underway amid concerns of individuals trapped under the rubble.
