SAN FRANCISCO: Twitter’s new CEO Elon Musk is facing a crisis-like situation as a large number of employees have resigned from the firm.
They were faced with the option of following the “extremely hardcore” policy or quitting Twitter and they decided to call it a day.
This recent development comes after Musk announced a 50 per cent job cut to save running costs.
Musk had reportedly sent out a Google form to his workers to check “yes” and agree to work “long hours at high intensity.”
Can Twitter Operate Dependably in Current Conditions?
The resignations raise further concerns about whether the remaining Twitter developers can dependably maintain the service.
However, the billionaire tweeted earlier that “the best people are staying, so I’m not super worried.”
Recently, Musk reinstated former US President Donald Trump on the microblogging platform after he created a poll asking users whether he should unban the account.
The CEO has attracted criticism for introducing significant changes to the California-based company he recently acquired for $44 billion.
