Turkmenistan’s Ambassador Calls on Pakistan’s Federal Minister Jamal Shah

ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan/ Dean of Diplomatic Corps Atadjan Movlamov called on Jamal Shah, Interim Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture here on Monday, where both the dignitaries discussed issues of mutual interest particularly cultural relations between the two countries and expressed the resolve to further strengthen mutual bonds in various fields particularly cultural heritage.

During the meeting the caretaker federal minister underscored the potential for collaboration in various artistic domains to further enhance the strong people-to-people contacts between the two sides.

The minister also proposed that Pakistan and Turkmenistan should jointly initiate film production as the medium of film is an effective means for promotion of art and culture.

The minister also informed that the Central Asian countries would be specially invited to be part of second phase of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Cultural Caravan.

Meanwhile, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Pakistan Atadjan Movlamov appreciated the efforts of the minister and the cultural ministry for the tiring efforts and promotion of art and culture in the region and showed his commitment for boosting cooperation in cultural exchanges between the two countries.
