ANKARA: Turkiye has announced it is recalling its ambassador in Tel Aviv back to Ankara in response to the Israeli persistent attacks on civilians in Gaza.
Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Saturday said in a statement that “Given the unfolding humanitarian tragedy in Gaza, the government has decided to recall back its ambassador Sakir Ozkan Torunlar to Ankara for consultations.
The decision has been taken in light of the continued attacks by Israel against civilians and the refusal of calls for a ceasefire and unhindered flow of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
