ISTANBUL: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has congratulated Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov on his birthday through an official message, said the Kyrgyz presidency in a statement on Wednesday.
“On behalf of the people of the Republic of Turkey and myself, I sincerely congratulate you on your birthday. I wish you good health, well-being, and all the best,” Erdogan’s message said, read the statement.
Erdogan expressed his pleasure at the strengthening of Turkey’s “deep and multifaceted relations” with Kyrgyzstan, emphasizing the shared historical and cultural roots of the two fraternal peoples.
He also conveyed his belief that the strategic cooperation between the two countries, both bilaterally and multilaterally, as well as at the regional level, will continue to deepen.
“Taking this opportunity, I wish you happiness, as well as prosperity and further progress to the friendly and brotherly Kyrgyz people,” the Turkish president said, as per the statement.
