Fidan paid a visit to the Iraqi President at the Presidential Palace, where Rashid extended a warm welcome to the Turkish Foreign Minister and his delegation.
During the meeting, they discussed a range of subjects, with a strong focus on bolstering bilateral trade, collaborative anti-terrorism efforts, and the effective management of shared transboundary water resources between the two nations. The Turkish Foreign Ministry shared these details on the social media platform X, previously known as Twitter.
Hakan Fidan, currently engaged in a three-day official visit to Iraq, had discussions with his Iraqi counterpart, Fuad Hussein, on the previous day.
