ISLAMABAD: A Turkish delegation has visited Pakistan Air Force Headquarters, according to a Pakistan DGPR (Air Force) post on X.
The Turkish delegation was led by Chief of Intelligence, Turkish General Staff Lt General Yasar Kadioglu called on Chief of Air Staff (CAS), Pakistan Air Force (PAF) Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu.

They discussed geostrategic situation, progress on joint ventures, and military collaboration.
Bond of brotherhood
During the meeting, the CAS emphasised shared values and aspirations forming foundation of deep-rooted bond of brotherhood between Pakistan and Turkiye. He expressed his commitment to enhance existing bilateral ties in the fields of counterterrorism, satellite programmes, and imagery intelligence, aimed at enhancing operational readiness. The air chief further highlighted the role played by PAF pilots in nursery to tactical level training of Turkish aircrew. He reiterated his commitment to provide training and capacity building assistance to the Turkish air force.
Both commanders deliberated on expanding training programmes for Turkish cadets at PAF training institutions and to modernise academy training paradigm.
“Sincere gratitude”
Lt General Yasar Kadioglu expressed sincere gratitude for the warm hospitality. He acknowledged the remarkable strides made by PAF in indigenous capability development. He expressed an interest in expanding collaboration in intelligence, cyber security and defence production.
The two commanders also discussed cooperation and collaboration in ISR, space and anti-space programmes.
