ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Turkiye to Pakistan Dr. Mehmet Paçaci, visited the Centaurus Mall in Islamabad to see the donation camp established for the earthquake victims.
The Turkish Ambassador met with the CEO of Centaurus, Sardar Ilyas Khan, along with the Country Head in Pakistan, Muhammad Sohail Sajid, who stated a press release.
Ambassador Paçaci said that Pakistan and Turkiye had never been like two nations but rather always behaved like one nation. The Ambassador said that the hearts of the Pakistani people beat with the people of Turkiye and thanked Pakistan for standing with Turkish brothers during these difficult times.
The severity of the quake situation is quite evident, especially for the victims; as time passes, there is a dire need for medical equipment, medicines, tents to avoid cold weather, blankets, beds, and special needs items for people of all ages, particularly women and children, mobile toilets, dry milk, hygiene items, long life shelf food items, tins of prepared food, beside others.
Turkish Ambassador lauds Pakistan’s relief efforts
The Turkish Ambassador said that Pakistan and the people of Pakistan did not leave their Turkish sisters and brothers alone in these difficult times.
The entire Pakistani nation, including teams from National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), PIA, universities and their students, and media, are all standing with Turkiye.
Dr. Mehmet Paçaci said that reconstruction and the restoration work started in Turkiye after the earthquake.
