It maintained that Hakan Fidan and the US Secretary of State also discussed the recent developments in the South Caucasus and the normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan during the telephone call.
The development comes as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia hosts summit on Ukraine crisis to push for peace and end war.
Kyiv has also presented its peace formula at summit Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, Arab News reported. Top officials of more than 40 countries including China and the US attended talks in Jeddah.
A source in Ukrainian delegation told the media the formula was “supported by several nations” at summit in Jeddah. Earlier, Blinken said that the US would continue to do “whatever is essential” in order to ensure Russia can freely export food if there was a renewal of the Black Sea grain agreement.
The EU also warned developing nations that Moscow is offering inexpensive grain in order “to create new dependencies by aggravating international food insecurity,”.
Moscow last month quit the July 2022 agreement brokered by the UN and Ankara aimed at easing an international food crisis due to conflict in Ukraine.
