ISLAMABAD/ANKARA: Turkey and Iran held a meeting on diplomatic relations in the Iranian capital Tehran.

Turkey and Iran held the 19th round of consultations on diplomatic relations. The Turkish Foreign Ministry said on Twitter that the Deputy Foreign Minister of Turkey, Yasin Ekrem Serim, held talks with his Iranian counterpart Alireza Bigdeli.
According to the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the consultations were also attended by international police departments and representatives of the justice ministries as well as relevant organizations. The Turkish Foreign Ministry further said that issues on the bilateral consular agenda and matters concerning their citizens also figured in the discussion.
