WASHINGTON: Former United States president Donald Trump has denied all charges levelled against him in the court and pleaded not guilty in the Atlanta court.
The former United States president was charged with conspiring to overturn the 2020 presidential poll results in an attempt to defraud the American public.
Donald Trump appeared before magistrate judge Moxila Upadhyaya who read the charges and Donald Trump stated ‘Not Guilty’.
The list of charges in 45-page document is brought in by special counsel Jack Smith.
Judge Moxila Upadhyaya said, “I can guarantee to everybody there will be a fair process and a fair trial.”
Donald Trump is running for president in 2024 elections and is the nominee from Republican Party.
Hundreds of his supporters have been sentenced for their involvement on January 6, 2021 attack on Capitol Hill.

The former president has a long list of charges and it is believed that his election campaign will be affected due to the legal battles he is currently involved in.

The next hearing is on August 28 before US District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan who will preside over the trial.
