WASHINGTON, USA: Former President Donald Trump criticized Vice President Kamala Harris, calling her “defective” following her recent interview with CNN.

At the annual Moms for Liberty gathering, Trump argued that Harris’s interview performance revealed flaws, stating, “She’s a defective person,” and warned against electing another “defective” leader, a jab at both Harris and President Joe Biden.

Trump, who has consistently attacked Harris as her political prominence has grown, mocked her dismissive response to GOP questions about her racial identity during the interview. Harris had brushed off these questions, calling them “the same old, tired playbook.”

Trump also criticized CNN’s Dana Bash, labeling her “nasty” and accusing CNN of protecting Harris by pre-taping the interview to avoid live gaffes, despite CNN airing the interview without edits.

Previously, Trump had praised CNN for fair moderation during a debate against Biden in June. His latest remarks are part of an ongoing pattern of personal attacks as the 2024 election approaches.
