ROME: Pakistani actress Mahira Khan is the latest Pakistani star to come under strong criticism on social media following she posted vacation photos from Italy on her social media account.

This is not the first time a Pakistani celebrity has faced strict scrutiny on social media for her choice of dress. Mahira Khan is currently in Italy, where she is shooting her new Netflix series “Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo.” She posted some beautiful photos on her official Instagram account, with caption, “Constant total amazement”.
The photos highlighted the natural beauty of Puglia, with a stunning sunset view. The actress also shared photos of herself wearing a bright yellow dress made of Italian silk. Many fans did not like her outfit and wrote negative comments about it.
Some fans were upset with Mahira Khan and criticized her choice of clothing, saying it went against eastern values and promoted Western culture. One person commented on Instagram, “I don’t mind her wearing such clothes, but she should not say her family was strict about her clothes when she wears sleeveless outfits.”
