- RAW’s disinformation lab exposed as FATF rejects claims
- Pakistan’s compliance beats India’s propaganda at global forum
- India isolated as world endorses Islamabad’s financial reforms.
ISLAMABAD: Despite relentless Indian efforts to isolate Pakistan diplomatically, the global community has once again rejected New Delhi’s narrative, with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) deciding to keep Pakistan off its grey list.
India, still reeling from its defeat in Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, had launched a massive diplomatic and media campaign to push Pakistan back onto the FATF grey list. However, during Saturday’s meeting of the FATF’s International Cooperation Review Group (ICRG), member states, including key allies like China and Turkey, stood firmly in Pakistan’s support, dealing a blow to India’s agenda.
India’s diplomatic failure
India’s primary objective at the FATF plenary was to pressure the global watchdog into relisting Pakistan over alleged deficiencies in anti-money laundering and counter-terror financing measures. However, the FATF maintained Pakistan’s status on “continued reporting,” acknowledging Islamabad’s progress in meeting the body’s action plans.
China played a pivotal role in backing Pakistan, while Turkey endorsed Beijing’s stance. Japan, as co-chair of the Asia-Pacific Group (APG), also extended full support to Pakistan, further isolating Indian efforts.
A triumph for Pakistan’s diplomacy
Pakistan’s diplomatic corps has been on an upward trajectory since Operation Bunyanum Marsoos, countering the joint propaganda machinery of Hindutva and Zionist lobbies. Despite India’s disinformation campaigns—spearheaded by its intelligence agency, RAW—Pakistan has successfully maintained its international credibility.
Reports indicate that RAW even established a dedicated “disinformation lab” in New Delhi to tarnish Pakistan’s global image. Yet, Islamabad’s transparent reforms and responsible financial governance have solidified its standing as a trustworthy nation.
Compliance earns recognition
Analysts argue that Pakistan has fulfilled all FATF requirements and no longer warrants inclusion in any monitoring list. Today’s decision reaffirms that India’s smear campaigns have failed to sway international opinion.
This outcome marks not just a diplomatic win for Pakistan but also a resounding failure of Indian and Israeli attempts to undermine Islamabad through baseless allegations. As Pakistan continues to strengthen its global partnerships, India’s reliance on falsehoods and propaganda stands exposed.
