ISLAMABAD: Spanish officials have said that a collision between two trains near Barcelona early Wednesday left several dozen people injured.
Emergency services for Catalonia said that the initial reports indicated more than 150 people were injured. Official authorities gave no further information on the nature of the injuries, but Spanish media said there were no serious injuries.

Train line
Railway officials said the accident occurred on a rail line in Montcada-i-Reixac, a town just north of Barcelona. The Catalan government’s representative, Ester Capella, in Madrid, told Spanish National Radio that officials were studying the incident.
