RAWALPINDI: Traffic Police finalized a special traffic control plan to be enforced on Christmas Day and Quaid-e-Azam birth anniversary in Rawalpindi city
Chief Traffic Officer, Rawalpindi Taimoor Khan, said that seven special squads of traffic police had been established to control one-wheeling and other traffic disruption activities.
Traffic Police and Traffic Flow
A total of 300 Traffic Police officials, including Circle Traffic Incharges, Traffic Police Inspectors, Traffic Police Wardens, and Traffic Control Assistants, would be deployed to maintain traffic flow on main city roads and city centers.
The City Traffic Police teams would specially perform duties in the vicinity of churches and Quaid e Azam birthday celebration sites in Rawalpindi city.
Traffic Police Plan
According to Traffic Plan, the drivers would not be permitted to leave their cars in front of churches, parking spaces have been set up 200 yards from each church.
In order to avoid traffic issues, traffic police pleaded with the drivers to assist the traffic wardens.
