PESHAWAR: Mutahida Anjuman-e-Tajran (traders union) on Tuesday carried out a rally in Peshawar to express solidarity with the armed forces of Pakistan and to condemn the violent protests on 9 and 10 May.
The rally commenced from Yadgar Chowk and ended at the historical Qisa Khwani Bazar, wherein the participants chanted slogans in favor of the Pakistan military and termed the force a valuable asset of the nation.
The speakers said that negative propaganda against military would not be tolerated and any such measure would be countered strictly, adding that the entire nation stood united with Pak Armed forces.
