Tourists Throng Murree to Enjoy Snowfall

ISLAMABAD: As Islamabad and Rawalpindi witnessed a spell of rain, a number of tourists thronged Murree and Galliyat with their families and friends to enjoy snowfall.

After Pakistan Meteorological Department predicted snowfall in the scenic city Murree and adjoining areas, tourists started arriving in this beautiful landscape to enjoy extra-cold weather, local media reported.

Thousands of tourists from all over the country have arrived in Murree to enjoy the winter snowfall at Kashmir Point, Pindi Point, the Mall and Ayubia.

Hotel business thrives in Murree

Hotel business was thriving in Murree in the freezing season. Almost all the big and small hotels were booked. The Hub of Murree; the Mall Road was flooded with tourists in the extra-cold weather. The restaurants and cafes witnessed a great rush and people had to wait for hours to get seats for meals and tea.

Traffic jams were seen at GPO Chowk Guldana, Jhika Gali, Kashmir Point and other roads causing difficulties for tourists. — APP
