ISLAMABAD: Tourists visiting the Northern Areas have been advised not to travel on Babusar Road after 6 p.m.

The Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC) issued this advisory on Wednesday to ensure their safety.

Authorities want to ensure that tourists don’t face problems or harmful situations. The PTDC said Babusar Gilgit-Baltistan Road is closed for all vehicles after 6 p.m. A big part of the road is underwater because of recent floods. This road leads to a beautiful tourist spot.

Tourists and people who travel have been asked to finish their trip before 6 p.m. so they don’t encounter any problems. They have also been advised to call the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Kite Project Helpline (1422) to get the latest updates about weather, roads, and floods. —APP
