FAISALABAD: At least three labors died on the spot, while another one sustained injuries when the roof of a factory collapsed due to heavy rain in Faisalabad on Saturday. The rescue officials said that the roof of a room inside the factory collapsed because of rain in the Faisalabad. Local media reported that three people were killed and one was wounded in the mishap.
Officials said that the dead bodies and injured have been recovered from the debris and shifted to the hospital.
Chief Minister Punjab, Maryum Nawaz expressed deep condolences and sympathies with the families of the laborers who lost their lives in the incident in Faisalabad. The Chief Minister offered heartfelt sympathies and prayed for the departed souls. The Chief Minister issued directives to the relevant authorities to provide all essential assistance and support to the bereaved families.
