Three Houses Gutted in Fire Incident in Srinagar District of IIOJK

SRINAGAR: Three houses were gutted in a fire incident in the Solina area of the Srinagar district in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

An official said that three double-storey houses were gutted in flames. The fire erupted in one of the houses and soon spread to adjacent buildings, he said, adding that the cause of the blaze is not known yet and is being investigated, according to Kashmir Media Service.

The blaze victims said that they lost all their belongings.

A man said that his wife was suffering from an ailment and was hospitalized. The victim added that he was in the hospital when he heard about the incident.

Muhammad Ayoub Dar, a fire victim, said that his brother’s house is adjacent to his house, which was also gutted.

All Valuables Gutted in Fire 

He added that his daughters and a niece are to be married next year, and they bought gold and clothes for them, but all valuables were gutted in the fire.
